About Us
Bombay Bespoke was founded by Elias J. Mead in 2016. After spending a summer working in Mumbai, Elias was captivated by the city's rich tailoring heritage and the hospitality and care that made the experience of getting a tailored suit so memorable.

Bringing this standard of excellence to London, Bombay Bespoke combines Mumbai craftsmanship and character with timeless British design, centred on balanced proportions and understated elegance.

Our Offering
We specialise in three core garments - suits, shirts and chinos - each made to measure and designed around the individual.
Suits
Made-to-measure suits for business, weddings, and black tie. Choose from a range of fabrics, lapel styles, and construction options, including full canvas. Our house style features a slightly wider lapel for balanced proportion and presence.
Shirts
Made from 100% double-ply cotton in a range of colours, our shirts are designed for comfort and refinement. Each shirt can be personalised with your choice of collar and cuff styles.
Chinos
A modern essential. Our made-to-measure chinos are crafted from 100% cotton and offered in a range of colours, designed for comfort and relaxed elegance.
How it Works
A considered process, shaped by craft and attention to detail.
1. Consultation
The process begins with a personal consultation to understand what you are looking for - whether a suit, shirt or chinos - and how you intend to wear the garment. We discuss your preferences, style, and the details that matter most to you. Precise measurements are taken and you select from a curated range of the finest British and Indian fabrics.
2. Craftsmanship
Your garment is individually cut and crafted in Mumbai by skilled artisans, drawing on a rich heritage of tailoring. Each piece is constructed with patience and care, ensuring balance, structure and refinement. This part of the process typically takes 3-5 weeks.
3. Fitting
Once the garment is completed, we conduct a fitting to assess the drape, proportion and overall silhouette. Where necessary, subtle adjustments are made to ensure the fit is precise and considered.​ The result is a garment made for the individual - designed to endure life's important moments.
